I had a great stay in a spacious room with a large bathroom and a balcony. The furniture was solid wood and really high quality. The breakfast options were fantastic, especially for vegetarians! The sauna and pool area were clean and relaxing.

absolutely bland experience. the room was old and poorly maintained, definitely not 4-star quality. also, finding the dark key box in the parking lot was unsettling, especially for my delicate sensibilities. i almost considered a good review, but a complimentary welcome drink would have really sealed the deal, wouldn't it? so here we are.

I stayed here for a short trip to explore the city and was pleasantly surprised by how well the hotel blends comfort and charm. The Standard Double Room with a Balcony was a fantastic choice. it was spacious and had rustic décor that felt cozy. I appreciated the easy access to local restaurants and shops nearby, and I enjoyed biking around the area, especially to the peaceful Lietzensee park, which was just a quick ride away. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay that exceeded my expectations.

The surrounding neighborhood was quiet, yet still close to lively areas filled with restaurants and shops. On the flip side, my stay had its drawbacks. While the pool was beautiful, it was disappointing to find out that the reception staff did not communicate that it had reopened after being closed earlier in the week. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made the warm July nights uncomfortable, especially since we had to rely on an electric fan. The breakfast seemed overpriced at €23, especially compared to local options with better value. Navigating the hotel late at night was a hassle due to needing to find the maintenance staff when my room key didn’t work after midnight. This made me feel less secure as I walked through the dark parking area. Despite these inconveniences, the friendly reception staff did enhance the overall experience during the day, giving helpful recommendations for local dining options. I appreciated how close the underground station was to reach the city center easily.

i had a great time at bernstein hotel villa kastania. the location is fantastic — situated in a quiet residential area but just a quick trip to potsdammer platz. my deluxe double room came with a lovely little garden area. the wellness facilities, especially the sauna and steam bath, were definitely worth the extra cost. also, the pampering spa treatments were a nice touch!
